Accura Technolabs’s security levels regarding the use of personal data are sufficient to be able to prevent unauthorized access, changes or loss of personal information.
Accura Scan’s website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk when you visit a website.
Accura Scan regularly sends newsletters and invitations to people in our network who are interested. Every newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe. The list of subscribers is never shared with third parties.
Accura Technolabs provides, through the Google Play Store and iTunes Store, the Accura Scan demo app, We provide this app free of charge to demonstrate and improve the underlying Accura Scan Application.
Accura Technolabs thus does not collect personal information. We do not know nor want to know who the users of our demo app / web api are and whose identity documents are scanned.
The app and the web api however does need to process the personal information that is on of the identity document, including privacy-sensitive information like name, date of birth, personal number and document number. In addition, the app and web api scans via Optical Character Recognition technology (or alternatively via manual entry) the date of birth, date of expiry and document number since these are needed to get access to the information on the passport or identity card. The app processes this information locally on the smartphone, i.e., the app does not send personal information to a server for processing. The personal information that is processed for OCR is not stored on the smartphone. The documents sent to our servers for Web API processing is not stored anywhere. The Data send via our Web API is processed for OCR and returned back via Rest API JSON format. We dont store any User Data on our servers.
If a user agree to use our Application with Biometric Facial Recognition, Accura Scan will collect an image of your face that you provide through a mobile app (i.e. a selfie) and a photo or scan of your face as it appears on an identification document. Accurascan will use facial recognition or verification technology only for the purpose of verifying the identity as the person who appears on the identification document. Accurascan will retain facial recognition information, including the photo of your face and photo or scan of your identification document, for the amount of time requested by the Accura Scan customer. In no event Accurascan stores the facial recognition information.
The processing of personal information is done on the phone, the confidentiality of this information depends on the security of the phone. The app uses encrypted network connections for the communication of usage information. The data process via Web API is not stored anywhere on our servers.
